Sixteen houses have been completed.

Our priogramme of eradication of exotic species is in full swing and the Lantana plant crop has been significantly reduced by on-site manager Willie Goosen. We intend to keep up this progress and hope to eradicate the species in the next year.

The sectional register has now been opened allowing "Real Rights of Extension" to be issued to all purchasers. This means that purchasers may commence building works immediately, building schdule permitting. Please contact the developer to ascertain the building schedule.

A 185m2 single storey plan has been submitted for approval by the municipality. The single storey plan is smaller (185m2) and lends itself to the less sloped sites, being 14,7m x 11.4m (see the double storey floor plans)

The double storey showhouse construction is under way and completion is expected early March 2005. The showhouse is being built to an upmarket specification using floor plan option 2 (see the double storey floor plans)

A single storey house design has been submitted for approval. The design is in the same style as the double storey. It has a large living room, separate dining area, 1 en-suite bedroom, 2 further bedrooms and a communal bathroom. The single storey is only 185m2 in floor area providing a less costly design. Electrical infrastructure installed and tested. 400V -> 3300V -> 400V intermediate system uses underground cables to power 5 houses from each of 5 transformers. In addition there are 2 transformers that supply power to the borehole and reservoir, and the main dam to supply brown water for irrigation in the development area.

Seven of the eight transformers have been custom manufactured and are on-site. Installation points have been constructed in preparation for the electrical installation scheduled for October week 1. All electrical supply points are being pre-fabricated and tested in Bloemfontein in preparation for a quick and faultless installation.

Dam 1 has successfully been enlarged as planned. This enlargement project has been brought forward from phase 2 to phase 1 in order to expedite the riverine redevelopment and to provide garden irrigation for the development area.
